Aristocrat Puts Safe Buster on Its Leading Upright Cabinet

Aristocrat Gaming put Safe Buster, a three-game slot family with a $10,000 linked jackpot, onto North American casino floors in June 2026. Buffalo, Chief, and Shark Fury all run on The Baron Upright, the company’s dual-screen box, and they reuse the Hold and Spin toys that already keep Bank Buster and Crazy Chickens busy.

The mashup is the marketing. The job is to keep a winning cabinet full of games slot directors already know how to sell, with a jackpot seed large enough to stop walk-up play, as operators head to Las Vegas for G2E.

Buffalo, Chief, and Shark Fury Land Together

Aristocrat’s launch remarks, dated June 11, 2026, said the Safe Buster family was already moving onto casino floors across North America. Each skin is a different art package on the same math. Buffalo borrows the company’s longest-running animal brand. Chief and Shark Fury dress the same bonus in a western lead and a predator lead.

Players fill a Tick Tick Boom meter with Cash on Reels symbols, then unlock a Hold and Spin Bonus with one character, two, or all three. Each character adds a different twist. The family also hangs a linked SSP/SAP jackpot that starts at $10,000, which is a local progressive a property can run on one machine or across a bank it owns.

The feature list is not a new invention. It is Crazy Chickens’ three-way bonus logic, Bank Buster’s heist energy, and the cash-on-reels language of Buffalo Ultimate Stampede, parked on one upright.

North America got the upright first. On March 20, 2025, Aristocrat said the same dual-screen box had made its European debut with seven installs in seven days, in Albania, France, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, and on European cruise ships. Kurt Gissane, chief revenue officer, said then that the speed of international hardware rollouts had been a top ask from customers. Safe Buster is the North American content answer to that same problem: a hot box still needs new games in 2026.

How Tick Tick Boom Mixes Two Hit Games

Crazy Chickens is built around three chickens and unique Hold and Spin effects. A green egg above the reel matrix pays every Cash-on-Reel prize on that reel, and a win-all symbol pays every reel. A red egg can show Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand. A “blurple” egg multiplies Cash-on-Reel prizes by the amount on the egg.

Coin Trio Buffalo mixed the Coin Trio format with the Buffalo brand on The Baron Portrait. Spooky Link extended Mo’ Mummy with Yo Yeti and Go Ghost. Crazy Chickens in Space put the same three birds in saucers, with egg stacks that burst into Instant Win, boosters, or multipliers. Safe Buster is that habit applied to Bank Buster’s vault crew.

The EKG show in February already recorded the result of that habit. Spooky Link: Yo Yeti took top-performing new core video game. Phoenix Link: Queen Chiu took top-performing new premium game. The Portrait cabinet took the hardware ribbon. Safe Buster arrived four months later as more software for the upright that the January cabinet report had already ranked first, not as a bet on a new chassis.

Aristocrat Gaming is the land-based unit of Aristocrat Leisure Limited, listed in Australia as ALL, and the company says it ships into more than 300 jurisdictions. That footprint is why a three-skin family on one cabinet is cheaper than three separate launches. Approval, conversion kits, and topper art travel together.

Circa Put Safe Buster on the Downtown Floor

The first public Vegas placement that named the game sat 28 days after the launch note. On July 9, 2026, Circa Las Vegas said it had added new slots to its first-level casino floor, including downtown debuts, and listed Safe Buster with three other Aristocrat games.

WHAT CIRCA SAT NEXT TO SAFE BUSTER

• Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Supreme: Jade Explosion and Purple Explosion, flagged as a first downtown.
• Buffalo Mega Power: Another Buffalo-branded Aristocrat game on the same drop.
• Fo’ Mo’ Mummy: Mr. Mummy and Ms. Mummy, also a first downtown.

That mix is the floor logic. Circa did not present Safe Buster as a lone attraction. It dropped it inside an Aristocrat sequel pack, then added one rival game so the bank did not look like a single-supplier wall. If the vault-and-chicken mashup needed a long explanation, it would not have been the fourth bullet in a downtown video. It sits in the same shop as Buffalo and Mo’ Mummy because the rules already live in players’ hands.

Public posts about the title stayed quiet after that. Trade accounts repeated the June release. The useful signal is the operator one: a major downtown room was willing to cut steel for it in July, beside other Baron-era brands, without waiting for a published index.

The booth will be judged on new metal and new software, not on a June press note. Safe Buster is already the summer fill for the upright that won its segment in January. Directors walking the hall will ask whether that fill held coin-in, and whether the next Baron family should look like another mashup or a clean IP.

The company has not published a unit count or an index for Safe Buster. Until those numbers show up in a cabinet report, the evidence is the hardware rank, the parent games still on the floor, and a downtown Vegas drop that treated the vault family as one more Aristocrat sequel.
