Ugreen Cuts the Liquid-Cooled MagFlow Pro to $100
Ugreen cut the MagFlow Pro, the first liquid-cooled Qi2 25W power bank, toward $100 as Anker’s fan-cooled rival prepares to ship.
Ugreen has cut the MagFlow Pro, the first liquid-cooled Qi2 25W magnetic power bank, by 33 percent off its $149.99 list. Amazon Prime listings put the pack at $100 on September 10, seven days after it showed up at IFA 2026 in Berlin.
The coolant window is what made the booth stop. The pump is there because 25W magnetic charging dumps enough waste heat that a pocket battery now needs a cooling system, not another LED. Anker priced a fan-cooled rival at $109.99 for a September 17 U.S. start, which is the other half of that math.
A $100 Cut on IFA’s Liquid-Cooled Pack
UGREEN listed the MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W at $149.99 on September 4, on its store and on Amazon, after a September 3 launch event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The U.S. store is running 33 percent off with code UL65062. Prime checkouts have been ringing up $100, which is the first real cut since the sticker went up.
Europe’s launch card was €119.99 and £109.99. The U.S. list sat $30 higher, then moved. A 10,000mAh magnetic pack without a pump still sells well below that. The extra money is the loop, the glass, and a display that reads charging power, battery level, cycle count, and cooling status.
THE IFA WEEK THAT MADE COOLING THE PRODUCT
- September 3, 2026: Anker shows a fan-cooled MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro at IFA. UGREEN stages its U.S. MagFlow event at Gillette Stadium.
- September 4, 2026: The MagFlow lineup goes on sale. The power bank lists at $149.99 in the U.S. and €119.99 / £109.99 in Europe.
- September 5, 2026: UGREEN’s own account posts that the pack fully recharges in 2 hours at 30W and that the liquid cooling is meant to be seen.
- September 10, 2026: The U.S. store runs 33% off. Amazon Prime listings hit $100.
- September 17, 2026: Anker’s U.S. MagGo 2 Pro sales date, at $109.99.
SKU 65062 ships in grey, with a 2-year warranty and 30-day returns. The 10,000mAh cell is the usual all-day size. UGREEN says it refills an iPhone 17 Pro Max 1.36 times and an iPhone Air 2.03 times. Thickness is 16.2 mm, so it still sits in the slim magnetic class even with fluid in the chassis.
Qi2.2 Made Pocket Chargers Run Hot
The Wireless Power Consortium’s Qi2.2 spec, branded Qi2 25W and issued in spring 2025, lifts magnetic wireless charging from the 15W Qi2 ceiling of 2023. Original Qi in 2010 was 5W. iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max take the full 25W. iPhone 17 Air stops at 20W. iOS 26 is the software gate for 25W on iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 families, except 16e.
Anker, which sells into the same Qi2.2 pile, published the thermal brief that accessory makers have been dancing around. Coil losses scale with the square of the current. A jump from 15W to 25W is 10W on paper and, in Anker’s telling, can more than double the heat. The spec also carries a 40°C surface temperature limit. Miss that, and the charger has one move left: drop power.
Without active cooling, the charger’s internal temperature would spike, forcing the system to throttle power back to 15W or lower within minutes.
Anker, Qi2.2 Wireless Charging Explained
That is why IFA 2026 filled with fans, thermoelectric plates, graphene sheets, and now a micro-pump. A 25W badge on a magnetic pack is a thermal product. Speed is what remains after the heat is hauled away.
The Pump You Can Watch Through Glass
UGREEN calls the MagFlow Pro the world’s first liquid-cooled Qi2 25W magnetic power bank. CryoPulse is a micro-pump that moves coolant across the hot parts, including the Qi2 coil, plus VC copper foil and a chassis that keeps cells away from the electronics. ThermalGuard trims power if the temperature climbs. The Cyber Window is the clear panel that shows the fluid moving.
UGREEN’s lab numbers, taken at 77°F on an iPhone 17 Pro Max, put peak temperature up to 18°F below a 118°F industry benchmark and cut temperature rise by up to 44%. Those are company tests, not a third-party bench. The same tests say wireless charging hits 50% in 40 minutes at 25W, and a cable run hits 65% in 30 minutes at 45W. The pack itself refills in about two hours at 30W.

The built-in USB-C lead doubles as a carry strap. A second USB-C port sits on the body. Launch notes rate each wired path at 45W and also cap the whole pack at 45W, so two cables share the budget. Wireless, strap, and port can feed three devices at once if you accept the split. Cells are ATL packs under UGREEN’s Dymondcell 2.0 label, with 13-layer circuit protection. Launch copy says about 90% capacity after 800 cycles. Protocols include PD 3.0, QC 4.0, and PPS.
The window is the reason this pack costs more than a plain 10K. It is also doing more visual work than the small edge screen. That is not an accident. UGREEN is selling a cooling loop the way PC builders sold a reservoir: if you can see the fluid, you believe the heat is leaving.
Anker’s Fan Pack Arrives on September 17
Anker’s MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro is the other IFA answer to the same 25W problem. It uses SnapCool, a small fan with dual air ducts, sensors, and a three-layer graphene spreader, plus ActiveShield 5.0, which Anker says checks temperature more than 10 million times a day. Anker’s own review puts a 36°C cap on the pack (96.8°F), under a 48°C international limit, and says wireless and 45W wired can run together without throttling.
On an iPhone 17 Pro, Anker quotes 50% in about 25 minutes and 25% in 10 minutes. The pack is 10,000mAh, 230g, and 4.1 × 2.81 × 0.69 inches, with 12N of magnetic pull, a color display, and a fold-out stand. USB-C in and out is 45W. Anker says 45W input reaches 80% in 52 minutes. U.S. price is $109.99, with sales listed for September 17 in Phantom Gray, Starlight Silver, and Polar Night Blue. Europe has been showing €109.99.
Those 25-minute and 40-minute figures are not a head-to-head. Anker tested iPhone 17 Pro. UGREEN tested iPhone 17 Pro Max. Different labs, different phones, both company-run. What is comparable is the bet. Anker put moving air in a $109.99 brick and held the surface at 36°C in its own numbers. UGREEN put liquid in a $149.99 brick, showed the fluid, and claimed 18°F under a 118°F mark. One is quieter to look at. The other is louder to photograph.
What 40 Minutes of Wireless Charging Costs
The MagFlow Pro is on sale now. The fan pack is a week out. If you want 25W magnetic charging this month, the loop is the one you can actually buy, and the $100 Prime listing is the first time that loop sits near Anker’s list instead of $40 above it.
25W MAGNETIC PACKS, COMPANY TESTS
| Pack | Cooling | Company 0-50% test | List | U.S. availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UGREEN MagFlow Pro 10K | CryoPulse micro-pump | 40 min, iPhone 17 Pro Max | $149.99 | On sale now |
| Anker MagGo 2 Pro 10K | SnapCool fan | 25 min, iPhone 17 Pro | $109.99 | September 17 |
| UGREEN MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 stand | TEC plate plus 15dB fan | 26 min, iPhone 17 Pro Max | $159.99 | On sale now |
The 3-in-1 stand is the desk version of the same MagFlow brief. CryoPulse there is thermoelectric cooling, not the pocket pump, and UGREEN quotes the center of the magnetic pad as low as 51.8°F with the fan at 15dB. A foldable 2-in-1 MagFlow charger lists at $59.99. None of those three is a silent 10K brick you throw in a tote and forget.
Wired fallback still matters, because 25W wireless is a front-half sprint. After the phone warms, both Qi2.2 and the iPhone’s own battery logic pull power down. The strap at 45W is the faster path for a 17 Pro Max if you can plug in. The magnet is for the walk from the gate to the cab.
Skip the Loop If You Only Need a Spare Brick
A liquid-cooled 10K is a niche inside a niche. The people who should pay for it are the ones who already snap a pack on an iPhone 17 and feel it get sticky, who want 25W to hold past the first few minutes, and who like seeing the hardware work. At $100 on Prime, that group is no longer paying a full $50 IFA tax for the glass.
BUY THE LOOP, OR DON’T
- Pay for the pump: Daily MagSafe top-ups on iPhone 17, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max, where 25W is the point and heat has already been a problem.
- Use the strap: Mixed days when wireless is convenient and 45W USB-C still has to rescue a phone, earbuds, or a small laptop sip.
- Skip it: Occasional emergency charge, older iPhones stuck at 15W, or anyone who just wants 10,000mAh in a bag at the lowest price.
- Wait until September 17: If a fan, a 36°C company cap, and $109.99 list sound like enough, and you do not need a pack this week.
UGREEN has sold into 180 countries since 2012 and puts its user count at more than 300 million. It did not need a PC-style window to move cables. It needed a way to keep 25W magnetic charging from becoming a 15W session in a pocket. The Cyber Window is how that engineering got a booth at IFA. The 33% cut is how it got a price that can sit next to a fan.
