How to Live Stream to Dacast with Oton Switcher?

Geek Switcher has a built in hardware streaming engine for live streaming via its built in Ethernet connection. That means you can live stream to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch or Dacast in better quality, without dropped frames and with much simpler settings.

Step 1 – Log In the Web Back End of Switcher

Step 2 – Log in Dacast and click ‘create Live Stream Studio’

Step 3 – Find the Encoder setup at upper right corner and copy the live streaming address to the web page

Note: Dacast live streaming address is an encrypted address, format for encrypted address is : rtmp://username:password@ip/xxx/xxx.

For example:

Server: rtmp://e00d3c30-a447-569f-7e9c-452131e3cf3e.dacastmmd.pri.lldns.net/dacastmmd
User Name: 3297223892
Password: dbcb01ec41ec5c37
Stream key: 9b9808f1d7074051ae4bf03b3b89bd62_4500
so the full address would be – rtmp://3297223892:dbcb01ec41ec5c37@e00d3c30-a447-569f-7e9c-452131e3cf3e.dacastmmd.pri.lldns.net/dacastmmd/9b9808f1d7074051ae4bf03b3b89bd62_4500

Step 4- Press the LIVE button(S06 Series) or STM button (S08 Series) to start live streaming, you can view your live feeds at Dacast share link.
