Oton Technology is a solo run publication, so every email lands with Logan directly. That means replies are personal, but it also means responses can take a couple of days during busy news cycles. If your message is time sensitive, please mention that in the subject line.

Where to Send Your Message

Different inquiries go to different inboxes so nothing gets lost. Please use the address that fits your reason for writing.

General inquiries: For reader questions, feedback on articles, suggestions for topics to cover, or anything that does not fit the categories below.

Editorial and story tips: For news tips, leaks, product launches you think deserve coverage, or industry stories that are flying under the radar. Confidential tips are welcome. If you need to share something sensitive, mention it in your first email and a secure channel can be set up.

Corrections: Spotted a factual error, an outdated detail, or a broken link in an article? Send the article URL along with a short note about what needs fixing. Every correction request gets reviewed, and verified errors are corrected with a visible update note. The full process is explained on the Corrections Policy page.

Press and partnerships: For PR agencies, brand managers, and media contacts. Use this address for product launch announcements, embargoed news, review unit offers, and event invitations. Please do not send mass press releases that have nothing to do with the topics covered on the site. A list of coverage areas is available on the About page.

Advertising: For display advertising, sponsorship inquiries, and clearly labeled sponsored content opportunities. Rate cards and audience information are shared on request. Full terms are listed on the Advertise With Us page.

What Oton Technology Does Not Accept

To save everyone time, here is a clear list of pitches that will not get a reply:

  • Guest post submissions
  • Paid link insertion requests
  • Link exchanges or reciprocal linking
  • Sponsored backlink offers, no matter how they are framed
  • AI generated content pitches
  • Crypto, gambling, adult, or pirated software promotions
  • Mass scraped press releases unrelated to the site’s coverage

These pitches are filtered out before they reach the inbox. Please do not follow up.

Response Times

Most emails get a reply within two to three business days. Press and partnership inquiries during major launch weeks may take longer. If you have not heard back within a week and the matter is genuinely urgent, a polite follow up is fine.

Note that not every email gets a reply. Pitches that are clearly off topic, automated, or unrelated to tech coverage are read but not always answered.
