Leaked Pixel 11 Colors Surface on Amazon With a Few Red Flags

Amazon’s pulled listings show Pixel 11 colors, specs and prices weeks before Google’s August 12 event, but a few details do not add up.

Placeholder listings on Amazon briefly showed the entire Pixel 11 lineup this week, in nine colors across four phones, a month before Google’s own August 12 unveiling. The pages, caught by 9to5Google, a site that closely tracks Android hardware leaks, also listed prices, RAM and battery figures for every model in the family.

Two details buried in the descriptions do not match what Google is widely expected to ship. One field lists Android 16 as the operating system. Another includes a SIM ejector tool for phones rumored to lean further into eSIM only design. Both point to a listing template that was not fully finished before it went live.

Nine Colors, Two Names Each

Amazon listed the base Pixel 11 under one name in the page title and a different name inside the product description. The titles read Obsidian, Hibiscus and Pistachio. Scroll into the description text and the same three phones become Midnight, Fuchsia and Moss, names that line up with leaks going back months.

The same split shows up on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, listed under Obsidian and Olive in one spot and Midnight and Pine in another, according to Droid Life, a site that tracks Pixel pricing and colorways closely. Pine also matches a separate leak that surfaced on Telegram just days earlier, from a leaker known as MysticLeaks. The Pixel 11 Pro, whichever naming convention eventually sticks, shows up in four shades: Dune, a pinkish beige; Light Fog; Pine, a bright green; and Sterling, a cooler gray with a hint of lavender.

Model Colors Shown in the Listings Starting Price Listed
Pixel 11 Midnight, Fuchsia, Moss (titled Obsidian, Hibiscus, Pistachio) $899 for 256GB
Pixel 11 Pro Dune, Light Fog, Pine, Sterling $1,299 for 256GB
Pixel 11 Pro Fold Pine, Midnight About $1,899 for 256GB

Nine colorways in total, and not one of them carries Google’s own name yet.

What the Listings Say About Specs and Price

The Base Pixel 11

The standard Pixel 11 listing showed a 6.3 inch display, 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM for $899, with a 512GB option at $1,019. Its battery came in at 4,985 mAh, just 15 mAh more than the Pixel 10, in a 204 gram body.

That RAM figure matters. Earlier leaks from the Telegram channel Mystic Leaks had suggested Google might cut the base model to 8GB to manage a global memory chip shortage. Amazon’s listing shows 12GB instead, at a higher price than last year.

Pro, Pro XL and the Fold

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold listings pointed to a 4,750 mAh battery, down from the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s 5,015 mAh, with pricing around $1,899 for 256GB, $2,019 for 512GB and $2,249 for 1TB, according to Droid Life. Early estimates already pointed to a nearly $2,000 foldable, and this week’s figures land close to that range.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL’s listing put its battery at 5,115 mAh. Notebookcheck reported a $1,299 price tag on a 256GB configuration, though the outlet suspects that number may actually belong to the larger Pro XL rather than the standard Pro, since it lines up better with earlier European pricing rumors.

None of this is happening in a vacuum. A base Pixel 11 landing at $899, up $100 from the Pixel 10’s $799 launch price, matches what analysts had floated as a plausible price jump months before any retail listing surfaced.

Why Do These Amazon Pages Look Unfinished?

Because at least two specs contradict what Google is expected to ship next month. The listings describe Android 16 as the operating system, though the Pixel 11 family is widely expected to launch on Android 17. They also bundle a SIM ejector tool for phones rumored to push further into eSIM only design.

  • Wrong Android version: the listings show Android 16 in the specs field, one full version behind what reviewers expect Google to ship in August.
  • A SIM tool that may not belong: included box contents list a SIM ejector pin, unnecessary if Google keeps pushing eSIM only models as rumored.
  • Two names for every color: page titles and product descriptions disagree on what to call the same phone, something 9to5Google flagged as one of the leak’s clearest oddities.
  • Rough images: 9to5Google also noted some product photos looked noticeably low resolution and pixelated in spots, unusual for finished retail photography.

Google already fields enough confusion over counterfeit hardware that it runs a dedicated process for reporting fake Pixel products and accessories, separate entirely from unofficial leaks like this one.

Even with those flaws, the listings carried the model number 4CS4 in their titles, a code leakers have tied to the Pixel 11 since CAD renders surfaced earlier this year. Amazon marked the pages as sold and shipped by Amazon itself, under the Google Store storefront rather than a third party reseller.

What Google has confirmed:

  • August 12, 2026: the Made by Google event opens at 6 p.m. ET in New York City.
  • The teaser image: Google’s own press invite shows a metallic gold or copper toned frame with a horizontal camera visor.

What’s still unconfirmed:

  • Every color name: Midnight, Fuchsia, Moss, Dune, Light Fog, Pine and Sterling all come from Amazon’s pulled listings, not from Google.
  • The Google Pixel Tag: no such accessory has ever been announced, despite years of rumors about a Google made item tracker.

Amazon pulled every one of the listings within hours of 9to5Google’s report, which is standard once a placeholder page draws this much attention.

Google Has Leaked Before

This is not the first time Google’s own supply chain has tipped its hand early. CAD renders of all four phones leaked in March and April, months before Amazon’s listings, and a wave of detailed specs followed in May from the Telegram channel Mystic Leaks.

Those May leaks already flagged a battery downgrade on the Pixel 11 Pro, rated at 4,707 mAh against the Pixel 10 Pro’s 4,870 mAh, a drop of roughly 160 mAh that would reverse the usual direction Pixel batteries have moved generation over generation.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) added its own confirmation this week. Five Pixel 11 model numbers, GPQQ7, GUJ0N, G7SWN, GBC0H and G4HCD, appeared in FCC certification filings, alongside documentation for a MediaTek modem replacing the Exynos units Pixel phones have used for years, according to Droid Life.

The Component Shortage Behind the Price Jump

Every price point in the leaked listings points the same direction: up. Reports have tied the increases to a global memory chip shortage squeezing phone makers well beyond Google, pushing component costs higher across the industry.

European pricing is expected to climb by roughly 100 euros across the lineup compared with the Pixel 10 family. In the US, the shift to a 256GB storage floor across all four phones, eliminating the 128GB entry tier that has defined base Pixel pricing for years, at least gives buyers more room even as the sticker price rises.

The Countdown to August 12

Google has already confirmed the August 12 launch date and climbing prices through press invitations sent to outlets including The Verge. The Made by Google event starts at 6 p.m. ET in New York City, a later slot than the roughly 1 p.m. ET start Google has used in past years.

The Pixel Watch 5 is expected on the same stage, moving to a Tensor chip after its predecessor used a Snapdragon processor. Google’s own invite shows only a sliver of a gold or copper toned frame, giving away far less than Amazon just did.

Google unveils the Pixel 11 lineup on August 12. Whatever colors, prices and specs the company confirms on stage that night are the only ones that will count.

Frequently Asked Questions

When Is the Google Pixel 11 Launch Event?

Google’s Made by Google event is set for August 12, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. ET, 3 p.m. PT and 11 p.m. BST, which works out to 8 a.m. on August 13 in Australia’s AEST zone. The event takes place in New York City and is expected to stream online for anyone not attending in person.

What Colors Will the Pixel 11 Series Offer?

Leaked listings point to nine colorways across four phones: Midnight, Fuchsia and Moss on the base Pixel 11, Dune, Light Fog, Pine and Sterling on the Pixel 11 Pro, and Pine and Midnight on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Sterling and Light Fog appear only on the Pro model, not the standard phone, based on what Amazon’s pages showed.

Is the Google Pixel Tag a Real Product?

Google has not announced a Pixel Tag, and the accessory has never appeared in an official product listing. Rumors of a Google made item tracker similar to Apple’s AirTag have circulated for years, and its mention inside the Amazon listings would mark Google’s first entry into that category if it turns out to be real.

Will the Pixel 11 Cost More Than the Pixel 10?

Likely yes. The leaked listing puts the base Pixel 11 at $899 for 256GB, a $100 increase over the Pixel 10’s $799 starting price, with European prices expected to rise by roughly 100 euros across the lineup.

Can These Amazon Listings Be Trusted?

Treat them as a strong lead rather than a confirmed spec sheet. Amazon pulled the pages soon after they were spotted, and details like an Android 16 software listing and a SIM ejector tool do not match what Google is expected to ship, so final specs should wait for the August 12 keynote.
