The GEEKOM GeekBook M16 is a 16-inch business laptop with a listed price of $899, a Core Ultra 9 185H processor and a 99.9Wh battery at the center of the pitch. The official pre-sale page shows a -$100 code named GKM16, one configuration with 16GB RAM plus 512GB SSD, and Windows 11 Pro in the spec sheet on the GeekBook M16 preorder page.

GEEKOM’s launch announcement dated June 8, 2026 calls the model its first high-performance business laptop. The same announcement says it is available for pre-order through the official website. It frames the price as around $800, while the store page lists $899 before the pre-order code. (en.prnasia.com)

Battery Leads the Spec Sheet

GEEKOM puts 99.9Wh in the first product bullet and again in the spec table. The bullet calls it an FAA-Limit Battery and says the laptop has a 24-hour lifespan. It also says the 100W GaN fast charger yields 3 hours of productivity from a 10-minute pit stop.

The company release gives the battery claim a second split: up to 24 hours of Wi-Fi usage and approximately 20 hours of local video playback. It also says the laptop supports 100W PD GaN fast charging.

The listing keeps the sales pitch in a few raw figures. The same page also states the weight and the pre-order code.

  • $899: Listed price on the pre-sale product page.
  • -$100: Pre-Order Exclusive code GKM16.
  • 99.9Wh: Battery capacity in the product bullet and spec table.
  • 100W: USB-C PD fast charger listed in the box.
  • 3.8 lbs: Weight in the specifications.

The Core Ultra 9 Badge Needs the SKU

The processor field matters because the phrase Core Ultra 9 covers more than one mobile chip. GEEKOM’s spec sheet identifies the M16 CPU as the Core Ultra 9 185H, with 16 cores, 22 threads and a 5.1 GHz frequency.

The chip’s own product page puts that processor in Core Ultra processors Series 1 and gives the code name as Products formerly Meteor Lake. The same page lists Q4’23 as the launch date, 45 W as processor base power and 115 W as maximum turbo power. (intel.com)

The 55W figure on the laptop page is GEEKOM’s sustained performance claim through GeekBook Dynamic Tuning Technology. Intel’s values describe the processor, while GEEKOM’s value describes this laptop’s tuning claim.

The table below uses values from the M16 spec sheet, the 185H processor page and the live Series 2 processor list. No benchmark result is used here.

Processor Listing Launch Date Total Cores Max Turbo Graphics
Core Ultra 9 185H Core Ultra processors Series 1 Q4’23 16 5.1 GHz Intel Arc graphics
Core Ultra 9 285H Core Ultra Series 2 page Q1’25 16 5.4 GHz Intel Arc 140T GPU

Business Features Stay Practical

The M16 ships with Windows 11 Pro according to GEEKOM’s spec sheet. The product page also labels the system Linux Ready, and the launch announcement lists Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and Windows 11 Pro together.

The business features sit in security, input and desk setup. The official spec sheet gives the exact parts.

  • Security: Hardware-based TPM 2.0, fingerprint integrated in the power button, and a 2M 1080P camera with a digital slide on and off switch.
  • Ports: HDMI 2.0, USB 4.0 at 40Gbps, USB-C 3.2 Gen2 full feature, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a 3.5mm headphone and mic combo jack.
  • Desk setup: The box includes a docking station, a 100W USB-C PD fast charger and a 1.8m USB-C to USB-C cable.
  • Input: A 98-key US layout with number pad, white backlight, Caps Lock and Fn LEDs, plus a 5.3 inch by 3.5 inch multi-touch touchpad.

The Screen Is Big With a 60Hz Panel

The display is 16.0 inches with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. GEEKOM’s table lists 60Hz as the refresh rate.

The marketing section gives the panel a 90% screen-to-body figure and says the 16:10 display provides 11% more vertical space than traditional screens. The same product page lists the chassis at 0.66 in and 3.8 lbs.

Airline Rules Put 100 Wh in the Story

GEEKOM’s product page calls the battery an FAA-Limit Battery. The FAA’s PackSafe page says portable electronic devices, including laptops, follow the same watt-hour restrictions as spare batteries.

For spare batteries or power banks, the FAA says lithium-ion batteries are limited to a rating of 100 watt hours per battery. It adds that many airlines may have stricter quantity and Wh limits, so carrier rules still matter for travel. (faa.gov)

The Pre-Sale Page Shows One Configuration

The product selector shown in the fetched store page lists Ultra 9 185H 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD. The spec table separately states memory as 16GB LPDDR5 and storage as one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD for U9-185H.

Expansion is listed in two places: one 2280 slot expandable up to 4 TB and one 2230 slot expandable up to 2 TB. The selected product field returned by the fetched page shows that same 16GB RAM plus 512GB SSD option.

The box contents include a Premium Packaging Box, the laptop, docking station, 100W USB-C PD Fast Charger, 1.8m USB-C to USB-C cable and user manual. The page also lists a 1 Year Warranty and 30-Day Refund & Return near the top of the listing.

The record GEEKOM has published is a $899 pre-sale page, a -$100 code, a 99.9Wh battery claim and a Core Ultra 9 185H specification.
